Since our last update, unfortunately COVID-19 cases have been reported in Malawi. This will undoubtedly put a strain on the already under resourced Malawian healthcare system, we would like to reiterate to communities and colleagues in Malawi that we are in support throughout this difficult time in every way we can.
The world has rightly slowed down to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. School students both in the UK and Malawi have been sent home. However, we wanted to reassure you that we are still committed to addressing the need for universal education.

Classrooms for Malawi are delighted announce the completion of 2 new classroom blocks at Mpira Primary School in Malawi. Working in Partnership with St. Margaret’s Academy, Livingstone, Scotland, Classrooms for Malawi have constructed a new classroom block and renovated a previously unsafe block.
